Event Recap- Dragon-Fall 2017
This past weekend, I attended Dragon-Fall in St. Charles. I was there with Matt Sears from Hyacinth games, running Wreck-Age demos. We arrived mid afternoon on Friday, and checked into the scenic Pheasant Run resort.
There was a 40k tournament going on in the main room, and an Age of Sigmar tournament and some hobby seminars in a separate area.
In the evening, after the tournaments finished, and they handed out prizes for the painting competition (Sam Lenz won an axe!), we set up for an exciting evening of Wreck-Age demos. There were also demos of Arena Rex, and the Batman miniatures game.
Here is another angle of the table. We really only need a 2x2 space for these demos, but I can't stop myself from putting out tons of cool terrain!
There was a vendor with a capybara drawn cart selling his wares...
This stitcher would like to share a fresh skull and spine with you.
This cool piece of terrain, made by Hyacinth's own John Gordon made it to the table for the first time ever!
We only ran a few demos, but they went very well. We met a bunch of fine people, and hopefully you'll see them out running Wreck-Age demos soon!
In the morning, we stopped in to check out the cool Bolt Action and Infinity setups.
This was one of quite a few elaborate Bolt Action tables.
This wintry Asian inspired table was full of nicely painted Infinity minis.
In summary- This was a nice little con. It is only their 3rd year, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it grows. We may even help them out with the next one!
