AAR- Mordheim Campaign Night 4

The Mordheim campaign chugs along with lots more action. Here's the Report from July 22nd.

We were graced with the presence of a guest player this evening, "Kid Kyoto" (a friend from Dakka Dakka) visiting us by way of India- Really nice guy who  shares a lot of our gaming interests. I hope he stops in again next time he's in town.  He controlled the Ogres in the following battle scenario.

Game 4.1. Mattias (Leechhead Lurkers, Posessed, Vs Karl (Afligast, Norse).

The warlord Afligast handed the Lurkers their first defeat. Both warbands stumbled across a den of snoozing ogres during a competitive treasure hunt, and the results were bloody! Luckily, the only lasting injury on the Lurker's side was the possessed Z'beel'z'brz was blinded in his left eye. We managed to make enough loot in this game to hire a warlock and a pitfighter.

Losses were relatively minor on the Norse side. As usual, a wolf was killed, but they breed fast. Even the most hardened members of the original group had to admit that the hiring of Dreknok Johansen (Dramatis Personae: Big Norseman with big axe) was a wise addition.  He proved quite formidable, and it seems likely that the Jarl plans to continue employing him as long as possible.

In no particular order here's a large gallery of the battle.

Game 2- James (Count Duchain's Undead) and Michael (Debauched One's, Posessed)

Not much is known about this battle that took place in the ruins of the chapel quarter, though reports seem quite definite that Count Duchain's Undead took the night.

After Night 4, the standings are:
Tim: (Middenheimers) 3-0
James: Count Duchain (Undead): 2-2
Karl: Sam Flat Akafligast (Norse Explorers) 2-2
Mattias: Lurkers of Leechhead (Posessed) 2-1
Michael: Debauched ones (Posesssed): 1-2
Charlie: (Skaven): 0-3
Jon: (Church of Sigmar): 0-2

Read in sports caster voice....
Karl and James have moved into  a tie for second. Both have dug out of their losing record and are now even. Mattias sliped into third, but only based on a lesser number of games played. The rest of the field is pretty much the same. The pressure is on undefeated king-of-the-hill, Tim to win his next game as there are now 3 players in a position to seize the top spot!

Til Next Time!

Karl
