Song of Blades and Heroes at Brainstorm 5/21/2016

Postby timlillig » Mon Apr 11, 2016 10:06 am

Brainstorm is having another of their game days on Saturday, May 21. I'm going to be showing off Song of Blades and Heroes. Would anyone like to help with that?

Even if you don't want to help run a game, you should consider coming along to play various games.

Sounds like fun, but Saturdays tend to be family time. I'll see what it looks like as we get closer.

I'm planning to go.
Let me know if I can do anything to help.
I've not been to Brainstorm yet, but Google says it's only ~40 minutes from me.

Out of curiosity, do you use the Advanced SoBH, or the older Revised edition?

Generally, I think we are transitioning to Advanced. In our last campaign we used some of the new magic abilities but generally forgot about reactions.

For the demo, I could go either way. I probably won't use magic just to keep the number of special rules low. So, the main difference between the two would be reactions or not. What do you think?

As far as what would help- I can provide minis and terrain, so just being ready to explain the rules would be very helpful.
