Historicals are not usually my thing. But I saw the KS on this. With all the terrain and the variety of minis, I had to share it with this group.

That's pretty cool. A few steps away from historical to be sure.
What scale is it?

I'm pretty sure these are smaller than 25mm figures. it is not at all clear how big they plan to make them, except that they do say they are significantly smaller than the figures from their other boardgames. I'm not sure how big the larger boardgame figures are. Those might be 30-40mm, so the joan of arc figures are probably about 15mm.

Ah, I see the explanation of legendary scale now. it is 16mm to the top of the head, which is a little odd.
Maybe we should make some "Chicago Scale" figs. We can measure them by shoulder breadth.

Re: Joan of Arc Kickstarter; So many minis, so much terrain
"Legendary Scale" is a truly useless term. If, as I suspect, 16mm to the top of the head is about the same as standard to-the-eye 15mm they why not just call it "15mm" so 15mm gamers will want to buy in and wargamers will know what to expect.
If it's not compatible with 15mm then that's a huge oversight and just dumb.
PS Tim you are brilliant.

I backed this one so if anyone wants some of the stretch goals let me know. Just the main pledge gives you a giant pile of stuff.
Also I've got Kingdom Death: Monster. It weighs 25 pounds and is beautiful. We should get a group and play some time.

Not particularly interested in Kingdom Death, but I might be up for playing Joan of Arc sometime. Despite the stupid scale name I was tempted by it, until I remebered my near-complete collection of Battlelore 2nd edition that has yet to be played. It looks like a great game and seems to have 3 solid, playable faction (all of which I have). but Unfortunatley Runewars and Star Wars Legion seems to have stymied further development of Battlelore.

I would be interested in trying Kingdom Death some time.
