Hi everyone,
I am looking to cut some hardboard and was wondering what everyone uses to cut it. I tried a small hand saw and it is taking forever. Thank you for any help!

Re: Cutting hardboard
For making Hardboard bases I use a coping saw. It's pretty coarse, but cuts quick. Then I shape the edges with a dremel 543 cutting shaping wheel which is the same wheel I use for almost all my toybashing cutting and shaping.
For long strait cuts I recommend a table saw or rotary saw.

Hi Karl,
Thank you for the reply. I had to look up a coping saw and saw that I have one:) I broke the blade years ago, but will pick up a new one. I do not have a dreamal tool, but will try sand paper.

Sandpaper is fine for rounding off the edges. Good Luck!
