9/26 Open Gaming?

Postby Eilif » Fri Sep 16, 2022 6:16 am

Per earlier discussion Monday the 26th would be the first try at a second monthly gaming night. I'm available to host, or someone else can. Also this is not a campaign night so other gaming is a possibility, even boardgames.

Anybody up for gaming that day?

I'm interested in playing something. I don't have a strong opinion of what to play right off.

Excellent. I've got lots of ideas (in no particular order)...
-Necromunda
-Space Station Zero
-Age of Fantasy (Original, Skirmish or Regiments)
-Battlelore Boardgame (this is surprisingly close to the top of my list and I've got all the armies)
-Dragon Rampant
-K47

If you think of something or even just want to come by and hobby, I'm open to suggestions.

Mattias indicated he wasn't available at the last meeting otherwise, I'd have asked him to show us Ye Dogs and Ye Dust.

I'd play Battlelore.
I have not bought Space Station Zero, but I'd try it.
Any of the others would be good too.

Let's do it!
Battlelore plays fairly quickly but has a pretty long setup phase. How about I select forces and decks for both sides and you can choose which one you want when you arrive?

Sure, sounds good. Should i bring an extra set of dice or anything from my copy of the base game?

Nah, I got a second copy of the base so we should be good. If you decide you want to build your own army and deck, let me know and I'll just do the other side. I was planning on sticking with the core set anyway as I've only played once before.

Hi Karl,
I am sorry I won't be able to attend the 26th game day. My wife went in for emergency surgery. She is doing better, but she will need help with recovery so I wouldn’t be able to make it. I hope you guys have a great time.

Michael- I hope things go as well as possible for you & your family.

Karl- If you set up armies for both of us,that would be great. I'll focus on learning the rules, if I've played this version, it was a few years ago at least.
