I all, I'm Ian, a relative newbie to the club! Pretty much relegated to the suburbs with work and a kid taking up so much time!

I'm originally from Scotland, just came to the area 3 years ago. I've been gaming for just over 15 years now, started out with 40k but in the past 7-ish years I've been branching out a lot. My interests are all over the place in both period and scale, but sci-fi makes up the larger portion of my endeavours.

With me in the states are a couple of Necromunda gangs (Delaques done, Enforcers WIP), a WIP White Scars 40k army, and a growing collection of Fallout minis.

Aside from wargames, I also enjoy RPGs, board games and, of course, video games.

Hello, Ed here. Long time lurker and once in a red moon participant. I have attended at least one Games Plus event in the past 3 years.

Currently interested in the Infinity RPG line though looking to get into other sci-fi warband\skirmish style games in the future. Terrible at painting. So, I tend to run bland figures... for now.

My name is Kevin. I've attended 5 or 6 sessions so far. I played Warmachine/Hordes for a few years under the Mk.II rules. I've also played Heroclix, Star Trek Attack Wing, and X-Wing. I tend to like games where the number of units is limited to around ten. I live around the Aurora area.

Hi, I'm Karl.
I'm also a founding Member and was the moderator of our previous forum incarnation on yahoo. It's been great to see CSW grow over the past 5 years. I've never gamed, painted or built as much as I have since we started this club. Thanks to Josh, Tim and Pat for this new forum.

My favorite part of gaming is building terrain from junk and old toys though sometimes I pull my self away long enough to paint up some figures.

My favorite games tend to be very rules lite and flexible. Song of Blades, Warengine, Kings of War, ITEN, etc.

Hi there! Mark Gipson here - current Texas resident who just moved here from southeast Wisconsin. I have been following Chicago Skirmish Wargames articles for years. I have a currently not very active blog on Wordpress called WalworthCountyWargamer. I am getting back into wargaming stuff after a time of inactivity. In the past I played 40k, Tomorrow's War, In The Emperor's Name, Battletech and lots of D&D. Currently I am trying to do some minimal stuff in an apartment with most of my gaming stuff in storage. Currently getting set up for some Panzer8 sci-fi gaming and some ITEN. I will see what else I can get back into.

I'm Anton and kicked things off playing VOR and have now ended up spending most of my free time working on the post-collapse skirmish game Wreck Age.

I hope to start doing a little more painting (it's been several years at this point), getting in some skirmish games, finding my sci-fi niche (I sold my Heavy Gear stuff), and playing Bolt Action or Flames of War.

I'm YAM (Yet Another Mike/Michael) aka Chgowiz/ChicagoWiz. I gamed with some of the founders in a D&D campaign in 2009/2010. I've been to one session at G+ to play some HOTT. I'm more into the larger scale conflicts or battles that tie into my campaigns. I use HOTT or Book of War or a mishmash of my own ideas to pull these off. Been playing with Neil Thomas's One Hour Wargames as well. I love Battletech/Mech Attacks.

I have a problem. :) I have over 850 miniatures and more on the way. Obession, really...

Hello all,
I joined CSW about 4 years ago when I came to the annual Zombie game which was held at Games Plus. I have been gaming since I was a child in the 1960s. Gaming is my number one hobby. I have a collection of figures and terrain which includes a lot of things from Games Workshop. This would be 40K Space Marines, Orks, Chaos Space Marines, Tyranids and a Traitor Imperial Guard force. For Warhammer I have Orcs, Slaanesh Chaos Warriors and Empire. I also play Mordheim, Man O’ War and Space Hulk among other G.W. games.
Partly because G.W. has made a number of changes to their games I am now into Ganesha Games. I have Song of Blades and Heroes, Song of Shadow and Dust, Flying Lead, Mutants and Death Ray Guns, Song of Drums and Tomahawks, Power Legions and Fear and Faith. I have really gotten into Fear and Faith and for over a year have been putting together figure and terrain for the game. I am using the game mostly for games based on X-Files. Besides these miniature games I also love to play board games as well.

Hi all. I can't believe it's taken me so long, but I'm finally getting around joining in the activity on the forum.

I'm Mattias, a CSW satellite member based out of Honolulu, Hawaii. I joined CSW in 2013 as part of my rediscovery of miniature gaming, and have been loving it ever since. It's a great group of people and a great place to game. I miss you all terribly.

My job is, you know...a job. But making things is my vitamin D, and miniatures/terrain is just one manifestation of that. I also enjoy guitar, illustration, writing, carpentry, cookery, zymurgy, and stuff.

(Thank you Josh, by the way, for the awesome avatar!)
