Got an idea that's been rattling around in my head. Something I mentioned in passing last night. My already massive bits collection, plus some recent acquisitions from Josh and others, plus a big batch of sprues that Michael has given has resulted in a large big bits collection far in excess of what I'll ever be able to use. I'm going to organize it, separate out the items I don't want to part with and make the majority available to members in what I'm calling the CSW Bits Library.
It's a pretty wide variety of stuff including lots of GW but also historicals, and others. Will probably include some bases as well. It will all be in plastic bead and thread organizers and should fit nicely into one or two plastic file carriers. I hope something like this can save members a few bucks and inspire and enable interesting conversions. On any club night at my place I can bring the library out at a member's request.
No rules that I can think of besides, please take parts for current projects only. If anyone wants to donate sprues/bits/etc to the Bits Library it would be appreciated. I quite enjoy the process of cutting/sorting/organizing, etc.

I absolutely LOVE this idea. LMK if you need any help sorting or anything like that to make it happen!

Thanks Mattias,
I appreciate the offer, but no help needed on my end. I find I really enjoy bits sorting. Sort of the same chill satisfaction as sorting and sleeving a cardgame. Is that weird?

I would be curious to peruse the library if you know there are any Blood Bowl sprues in there or any good bits for Gaslands or crew for Space Station Zero or Space Weirdos. Anything Celtic looking for Saga? Uncle Atom has me curious about Kill Sample Process, but it is merely curiosity at this point. I'm on a painting roll with Adepticon just over the horizon and it'll help keep momentum if I have the next couple projects in the hopper.

I don't know that there will be whole figures just yet, but there will be tons of bits that might have use for any of those games. I think there may be some saga appropriate figures in the bin-o-figs that Jon brought to the swap. I bet you guys can cut a good deal.
What type of Space Station Zero or Space Wierdos figs are you looking for? There's a good chance I may have something in my collection.
Glad to hear you're on a painting roll. Keep it up!!!

Terrence,
Which era of Celts are you interested in? I probably have some extras of the type that raided Rome and Greece and fought Julius Caesar. If you are interested in that era, I would play too.
