Hey guys,
I know a few of you have gotten into this game and I've resisted, but I found the starters for $12 at Target so I bought 2. I don't know how much I will play now, but at least my kids and I might have some fun with it when they're a bit older.
My question for you all is how many starters should one buy? The starter I bought is the one with two Tie's and one X-wing. Looks like the same starter as they've had for a while except that it seems to be painted and themed with cards for the newest movie.
Also, if anyone wants this, I can probably get to my Target again before Thursday to pick up more.

I would think two is sufficient for playing with your kids.

I would take one more starter if they have any left. Cheers!

If I end up playing someone other than my kids should I have more than two or would that be redundant?
Jon,
If I can swing by I'll get one for you.

I think if you want more beyond two starters, you're probably better off just getting one of the other ships.

Agreed. Unless you are modding other ships or similar and need the parts.

Cool. I'll stick with 2.
Jon,
I just picked one up for you. I'll PM you my paypal address.
If anyone else wants one there's still a whole bunch at the Cicero location (south of Cicero and Ogden). They're all tagged at $27 but they ring up as $12.
They've also got a bunch of other board games on sale for about half off.
-MtG Arena of Planeswalkers for $15
-Machi Koro for $15
-Wizard of OZ Munckin for $12
-Pyramix for $10
I've bought all these in the past couple weeks . So far Pyramix and Machi Koro are my favorites of the batch, but I haven't had a chance to play the other two.

I'm good with one starter. But I play in organized events and all the players have their own stuff. I got a second set of dice (for about what you spent on the reduced price starter). That is about the only thing you will find you want more of.
Anytime someone wants to play, I know a couple of fun multiplayer formats that could be for a time when we are short on time and not wanting to set up.

Great to hear from you Terrence.
Good to know about the usefulness of extra dice.
