Recently, I got a chance to try Warhammer 40k with Frank and his group of friends who have been playing 40k since Rogue Trader. It was a 1500 point game between two teams controlling  Slaanesh Chaos Space Marines versus a vehicle heavy force of Imperial Guard. We used a scenario from the rulebook, cities of death rules and objective cards. At set up,  the noise marines and some cultists were facing ogryn and vehicles coming down the street at them. The forces of chaos had an early advantage as several of their objectives happened to be relatively close to their side ...

Ooh the gamemat.eu Mars mat. One of my favs! (I also own one, used it for Halo Ground Command, works fantastic for 15mm scale also.)
