I really do like the idea of games with armies tailored thematically to the scenario and I'm definitely in favor of dumping points into cool vehicles. The USA forces already have a some nice big mechs, but there's one big one that's not quite finished that I'm going to finish up for the Brits.
Mattias, looking forward to seeing your progress. I feel kind of like we've corrupted you from your pure path of skirmish games into the dark side of army building....
I finally found the bag of heads I've been looking for. About 20 Turbaned heads with gas masks. Looks like the British might get a Sikh Platoon!

That's one of the things I really liked about K47. It scales down really well. You can play it at a much lower points level and it feels more skirmishy.
skirmishy? yeah that's a word now.

Hey Guys,
Would any of you who got an American jeep (or whatever the official designation is) or similar US vehicle kit be interested in trading for this 1:50 Corgi Jeep?
It's like-new in the box and already nicely painted with US designations, but my US force already has Jeeps and if I make a jeep it will be for British forces which looked quite similar with the stars, but of course didn't have the US Army designations.
No worries if you all want to keep your Jeep kits. Just thought I'd ask.

To answer the questions:
1) What's your approximate timelines for having a playable 1000 point (the minimum necessary it seems) force and then a 1500+ point (a point value that seems more interesting) force? I believe I can get a playable force around up to 1500 pts done by the beginning of May. My models are mostly built and just need paint
2) What Army or Armies do you have?
- German wierd war/steampunk/sci fi themed, a mix of models and conversions from several manufacturers
- I do have enough to field a Japanese force with a definite sci fi tilt, but will focus on the first army unless someone needs a force and wants to play Japanese. Some of this is already painted, so I could probably also have enough done by May to field somewhere over 1000pts

Thanks Tim,
I appreciate it. The Corgi is yours if you'd like it.

After a bit of discussion at the last game night, we decided to push the start of the K47 mini-campaign to June. We all wanted a bit more prep time for our armies.

Hi Karl,
Sounds great. My Germans are ready and I just have to finish my Pershing tank to have my American (Allied) force ready to go.
