Looking forward to gaming with you tonight gents! I had a little solo practice game last night and am feeling much more prepared than last time.

It looks like the 'Point Defence' scenario in the main book could be a good match for this kind of thing.

Just found out I am double booked for tonight, my wife already had something on the calendar. Going to have to miss this one. Will plan to be there at the next gaming session in two weeks. Have some fun games.

For future reference, my current largest tank is a Panzer IV X with armor skirts. 240 or 290 depending on Veteran status. Cheers.

Hi guys,
Sorry I never followed up. What do you all think about a 4 player game tonight with only vehicles? 1000 points and if you need to round out the points, you can bring a squad of anti tank infantry?

It'll probably be pretty fast, but if necessary, we could pull 2 dice each activation.

We could definitely find a way to include fixed weapon emplacements.

Either Michael plays his Germans alongside Tim, or if Michael plays his British we can ally the Quar (use whatever list you want) with the soviets.

On second thought, maybe not?

I just remembered that Tim and Mattias are probably coming from work and may have their forces chosen already.

Still, Id be up for an armor heavy battle. Maybe just a 2 player with Mike? I've got The extra American army if it would help.

Well Michael is out due to covid and Jon is out due to booking, so I think it's just Tim, you, and me for tonight. We could do a 2v1 with one of us playing 2000 points vs. two people with 1000points (I've figured out a 2000pt list that would only be 13 command dice) though it would probably be wiser to do a 2 500 point forces vs 1 1000 point force. I can have lists for either of these scenarios.

With regard to an armor-heavy game, the force organization requirements in K47 seem to preclude this. Each platoon MUST have an officer and two infantry squads, and can have a MAX of 1 tank or walker (Force selection, page 126), so we'd have to houserule it if we wanted to break those constraints.

I'm fine with whatever works for you guys. There is a provision in the force builder for tank platoons...

Based on last week's play time though, a3 player game is probably better at 1200 vs 600x2 or 1500 vs 750x2

Ah that must be from one of the later books. I'm just going off the core rulebook.

I, too, am down for whatever. I have lists drawn up for 500, 1000, and 2000 and I can quickly try to throw together 750 and 1500.
