I went full-on speed painting for that robot army, figuring out just how little I could get away with. Don't get me wrong -- I'm pleased with the result, and proud of the work, but part of the reason I dig skirmish-level games is so be able to put a little more time in on the painting.
And besides, you haven't seen my Adepticon haul. I picked up starter boxes for two new Freeblades factions, and some other stuff, and I've been working on terrain ... it's not so much adding ten more minis to the pile, it's adding ten more minis to The Pile.
